Upcoming Meeting Locations, Mentoring, 
Fly Tying, Casting Instruction, Fishing, Trout Lease

Club Leaders will provide an update on the club activities and enjoy some fellowship with the members while fishing on the Llano!

Please plan on attending this outdoor fishing + club meeting. Bring your fly fishing gear and catch some panfish, bass and Rio Grande Cichlids, "Rios"!

Bring a snack or sack lunch as needed (Water and Soda will be provided)

SUNRISE:  COME EARLY AND FLY FISH - Park in the river bottom as shown on map.

11:00AM: CLUB MEETING BEGINS - Assemble in parking area.

Rio Grande Cichlid Contest Rules

A Special Club Meeting Day Contest  

  1. Fish the Llano River before the club 11:00 meeting and catch a Rio Grand Cichlid.
  2. Photograph your catch and fly used to catch the rio
  3. Bring the photo to the meeting
  4. Show your catch when contest winners are recognized.

The remainder of the 2026 calendar promises to be an exciting time for THCFF with many outdoor meetings and fishing opportunities!
