Fly Tying -
Who it’s for: Everyone — beginners welcome! We’ll go over tools, proportions, and a few color tweaks that consistently catch fish around the Hill Country.
Today's Fly: Woolly Bugger 101 + Hill Country variations — one of the most reliable flies for both warm-water and winter trout fishing.
Tiers Bring:
- Your vise and basic tools if you have them (we’ll have a few loaner kits)
- Head cement or UV resin if you prefer
- Coffee mug and good company
We’ll provide:
- Hooks, chenille, marabou, wire, and hackle
- Step-by-step demo and printed handout
Whether you’re tying your first fly or your hundredth, come enjoy a relaxed morning with fellow anglers and help shape the upcoming Trout Lease season.
